The iPhone 3G Joggle

It took me a while (15 days to be exact) to write this next post.

I got my wife an iPhone 3G and I had to re-format my newer laptop to Windows XP so complementing applications like iTunes can be used to activate and manage the phone. Too bad there's no iTunes for Linux.

I also had to convert my older notebook to Ubuntu so I can continue work on this blog. My Ubuntu now runs on a 2-year old hardware with the following specifications:
  • Intel Centrino 1.6GHz Processor
  • 1.2GB Memory DDR 333
  • 60GB HDD
I am happy to note that there are no noticeable difference on normal usage like browsing, playing music, watching movies and editing documents. Some CPU-intensive tasks seem to take longer though compared to my newer Core2 Duo, 3GB DDR2 laptop like creating a DVD from .avi files using DeVeDe.

I hope to write more often now. I think I'm over the iPhone 3G joggle.
